- Total Time: 25 minutes
- Yield: 16 oz. 1x
Scale
Ingredients
3 c. strawberries
1/4 c, chia seeds
3 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 lemon, juiced
Instructions
- To make the jam, roughly chop the strawberries, measuring out 3 cups. Add the strawberries to a saucepan. Measure out the maple syrup and juice the lemon and add both into the saucepan with the strawberries.
- Put the saucepan on the stove over medium heat. Allow this to cook down for 15 minutes, until the mixture has released juices, and the strawberries start to break down as you stir them.
- Add the chia seeds, stir and remove the saucepan from the heat. This will thicken.
- Allow jam to cool before transferring to a glass jar. This jam recipe makes 16oz which can be stored in the fridge for a few weeks.
