Charred Citrus and Pomegranate Gin and Tonic

  1. Turn the oven on high broil.
  2. Slice the citrus and lay it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until all of the citruses are charred.
  3. Deseed the pomegranate, making sure to reserve some of the juice. When the citrus is charred add one slice of each type into a cocktail shaker with about 1 Tablespoon of pomegranate seeds and 2 ounces of gin. Muddle well. Add a few ice cubes to the shaker and shake.
  4. Pour over ice in a glass and top with 6 ounces of tonic and stir. Top with a few slices of citrus and a few pomegranate seeds and serve!
