Easiest Paleo Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz. paleo compliant ketchup (I used Teseemae’s)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne*

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients into a small saucepan. 
  2. Place the saucepan over medium-low heat. Bring to a slow boil.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 15-20 minutes. 
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and pour into a glass jar with a lid. 
  5. Serve on whatever you like – venison, beef, chicken, pork!

  • Use just a pinch or omit the cayenne if you don’t like too much spice
