Ingredients
Venison Breakfast Sausage (or use half of this recipe and make the rest into patties):
- 1/2 lb. ground venison (I have used all venison – 1lb total with good results, pork makes it more mild & juicy – your choice!)
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp. fennel seeds
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 pinch. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
For the bowl:
- 1 Tbsp. avocado oil, butter or ghee
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1/2 bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
For serving:
- 4 eggs – optional – I like mine served with a fried egg, my husband and daughter do not
- Sliced avocado
- Your favorite cheese
- Your favorite hot sauce
- Anything else you love – tomatoes, jalapeños, herbs, the list goes on!
